What Sounds of Jericho wants for their ministry…
Is the sound of obedience. From the rolling hills of northern Georgia, the ministry of Sounds of Jericho will bring classic quartet music and original songs to both church services and music festivals alike. With a long history of ministering in Gospel music, fans will remember group owners Stacy Bragg (bass singer) from his days with The Statesmen and The LeFevre Quartet and Stephen Sigmon as the original first tenor for the LeFevre Quartet. Combining their voices with Matt Tyler and Ken Thomas, this quartet will bless listeners with songs grounded in Biblical truths and hearts that echo the call of God in their lives. Each member of the group has extensive musical experience, well founded in Southern Gospel.
Their latest project, “Live For Him,” was produced by award-winning Chris Allman and is a small glimpse of what God has in store for His people. With deep lyrics and a rich quartet sound, these four men will bring a practical perspective to Biblical truths we‘ve heard all our lives. Most importantly, their ministry will remind everyone that obedience always results in victory for those who trust the Lord.
When Sounds of Jericho steps on a stage, their heart reflects the verse their ministry was founded on…
“What message does my Lord have for his servant?” The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so. (Joshua 5:14-15).
The scripture above outlines the actions that Joshua and the Israelites took at the command of the Lord. Their obedience resulted in the delivery of their enemy into their hands. It also made quite a sound and resulted in reverence of the Lord! Literally, it was a Sound Of Obedience, or a Sound Of Jericho. That is what Sounds Of Jericho wants for their ministry; obedience and worship.
